Classic italian fine handcrafted bedroom, living and dining room furniture

Our approach
Our handcrafted furniture is the fruit of dedicated historical research. In our reinterpretations of the styles and shapes of days gone by, we tastefully recast these forms in ways that cater effectively to the functionality and rationality so essential to modern living.
Our construction techniques are fully respectful of time-honored artisanal traditions: the components are assembled using joints, tenons and mortises, and our furniture features dovetail jointing, real wooden nails and wooden pins that allow the wood (a natural, living material) to expand and contract without splitting;
impressive decorative details such as inlays and artfully fashioned wooden features, as well as the use of natural materials such as water-based, atoxic rare earths, shellac and beeswax underline the company's committment to offering its customers high-quality products that retain their charm whatever the prevailing dictates of fashion - furniture that works wonderfully in both classic and modern contexts.
Master Craftsmanship

To really grasp what constitues classic furniture, a knowledge of the material used and an understanding of the ways is it used are indispensable.
Our classic living and dining room, or bedroom furniture starts out as blocks of pre-seasoned Italian walnut heartwood, from which only the finest sections are selected for use.
Subsequently, every single piece used to make the furniture is worked by hand using both traditional tools and (where possible) numerically-controlled machinery that can guarantee the highest possible levels of precision and quality. Once the component pieces have been prepared, they are assembled manually to produce truly handcrafted furniture.
Once manufacture is complete, the furniture enters the crucial - and extremely delicate - varnishing phase. The varnish has to be applied by expert hands in order to ensure that the finished result has what it takes to be considered a piece of classic furniture. Manual treatments, complex processes, the use of organic materials such as earth, iron oxides, shellac and beeswax: these are the elements which, when successfully fused in the hands of an artist who appreciates the depth of tradition, give our furniture that unmistakable lustre and color of a classic.
